The Student Associate Programme
The Yale-NUS College Student Associate Programme (SAP) provides students with a range of on-campus job opportunities. Students will be attached to faculty or administrative offices to contribute to their research or project operations.
Process, Terms and Conditions
On-campus opportunities are only available to full-time undergraduate students at Yale-NUS. There are no nationality restrictions. On-campus opportunities will be listed on a rolling basis.
The pay rate for student associates is SGD 9.00 per hour. Students will receive their compensation from the hiring department or division.
Students are recommended to work no more than 8 hours during Semester 1 and no more than 10 hours during Semester 2, so that they can better gauge their commitments and strike a healthy workload balance. Non-Singaporean students are allowed to work for a maximum of 16 hours per week (Monday-Sunday) during semester time, according to employment regulations for Student’s Pass holders. This limit does not apply during vacation periods, when students may work up to 44 hours per week.
