Leadership Symposium

The Leadership Symposium is a time for seniors pursuing the Leadership Certificate to distill and share their learning with the wider Yale-NUS community in their final semester at Yale-NUS College.

Each participant undertakes a CIPE-facilitated reflection that is conducted either individually or in groups. They are each given a 7-minute window to share their takeaways at the Symposium on the following:

1. Self

  • Personal values and what they represent

2. Working with others

  • How personal values have played out and insights from these encounters

3. Community

  • What community means
  • Communities past, current and future

4. Impact

  • What personal impact is intended
  • 1 thing to do to take this forward
