4. Cohort Activities

Cohort activities are intended as a way to connect and synthesise dynamic experiences of the leadership certificate cohort, as they advance through the sequence. These may take the form of film screenings and discussions; and students are expected to attend at least 2 of 4 such events each year.

To enable continual discussion and dialogue, students in the Leadership Certificate Cohort will form groups that will support their peers.

5. Leadership Symposium

In their final semester at Yale-NUS College, all students pursuing the Leadership Certificate will take part in a Leadership Symposium to distill and share their learning with the wider Yale-NUS community. Each student will be asked to reflect on their experience in 10-minute segments, and will consider the following questions:

  1. How did the Leadership Certificate experience impact you?
  2. How has it shaped your interactions with others?
  3. What is a community that you identify with? Reflect on the footprint that you have left.
  4. What is one thing you would do to take this forward?
