Back in the days, I had a plan mapped out for my undergraduate studies at NUS, but ended up changing it to graduate with a major in Sociology and a minor in Economics. After working at the NUS International Relations Office for a time, I left to pursue a Master’s Degree in International Affairs in Geneva, Switzerland, with a focus on global health. While in Geneva, I worked in the non-profit sector, with my last position being a joint one in the communications teams of the International Committee of the Red Cross and the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies.
I’ve found that life tends to be full of surprises, leading us down different and unexpected paths. The varied experiences I’ve had have made me an advocate for international and experiential learning. As a part of the CIPE team, I’m happy to share this passion and empower our students to live their dreams.
